Version 0.3.4 Public Release



Hi everyone! We hope you had a great summer, and what better way to end it than with some more visual novel reading?

Later this week we'll turn a new page on this project's development, as we strive to end the dev hell we've been through for years. But today we are making v0.3.4 of Identity available to the public!

This build integrates Brym's first date into day 3, brings many additions to days 4 and 5, adds some much needed fixes to the audio system and other improvements.

its a shame Azorin isn't one of the options that we can date i like him he seems nice

He is a nice character, and we will get to writing dates for him as well! For now there's lots of new content in the works at the moment, we're trying to get it all ready for an end of November update, so stay tuned!

A pity that doesn't update in the android version.

I gonna lose all my saves again to do a cleam instalation.

There shouldn't be any serious compatibility problems between v0.3.3 and v0.3.4. Unless you have a way older version in which case the game should automatically clean up your save data due to incompatibility.

I have been cleaning my tablet with android 9 from some files to see if that the problem. Once I had a install problem because its need near 4GB free space to install the update. Sounds like that is normal in some apps depends of the size. Even if the app isn't big. When that happen it just don't install and not even say why.

I end deleting all my snapshots by accident luck I had a backup in Onedrive. To be true I deleted those in the Onedrive and the synchronisation deleted it from my tablet but I got back from the Onedrive.

Hey! im trying to download the new build but it says the app is damaged. and i should move it to the trash bin, any help? it´s a MacOS catalina

Yes, someone else brought this up in our Discord server and we found a solution. You need to open a terminal in the folder where the app is downloaded and write "xattr -cr ./Identity.app" (without quotes). This removes the download attributes assigned to the app launcher.

It seems to be a problem with how Godot builds for macs at least on the current stable version, although there have been similar issues in the past with macs that have been fixed with new engine versions.
